The Yogi's Joy

Starts 9 Jul 2020

This 3 day retreat will be based on the teachings of Milarepa. Specifically The Song of Realisation from the Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa who was a Tibetan yogi famous for his poetic songs and teachings. We will also enter into the Tibetan Book of The Dead ... reflect, meditate and deepen our understanding of living and dying.
This is an annual mid winter retreat specifically for Triratna mitra's. Dont miss this special opportunity to practise away from the usual modern comforts and distractions. Enjoy simplicity and creativity in the natural, magical setting that is Sudarshanaloka.
At the peak of our time on this retreat we will spend 24 hours immersed in ritual and myth, practicing around an outdoor fire and sleeping in the open shrine room space housed next to the Stupa and Puriri tree. A good sleeping bag, lots of warm clothes and a torch are a must for this retreat. Candle lit dinners, beauty, song and poetry.
