Mens winter Anaruddha retreat

A mens retreat with no programme to speak of - open to all
The Buddha on his way back from solitary retreat near Savatthi happened upon three monks at the bamboo park - Anuruudha, Nandiya and Kimbila who were living and practising together with kind eyes, bright energy and positive resolve. Abiding friendly and fee of differences as milk and water blended together. For this the Buddha had high praise.
This is a retreat with no formal programme to speak of, where we can follow the living current of our practice as it flows and the days unfold, or as our inspiration takes us, attending to our own spiritual affairs in the good company of Dharma brothers... or we can just rest and do nothing.
Based on past retreats things loosely seem to settle out at morning meditation, check in with each other after dinner followed by puja. Shrine entry is on the hour during the day while with food, cooking and washing up we just muck in. What not to like hanging out with the brothers attending to our own spiritual affairs, aware of self and other. Loads of space and loads of time on this retreat that settles to a quiet harmony.
All welcome.
