Caravan roof
We were able to complete the caravan roof covering by the end of August, again Luke doing ther lion's share of the work with assistance from the community.
The caravan's roots go deep into Sudarshanaloka history originally belonging to Navacitta after whose death it fell into decay, to be restored by Vijayamuni before his death in 2023. The Sudarshanaloka management team took over the project in co operation with interest and donations from Auckland and Thames, with a view to create a camping facility at the Amida flat camp ground. The project has been a long time in the making and now beginning to emerge, though still not finished. Eventually the facility will include the caravan with solar power, a diesel heater, kitchenette for camping/caracan use and a toilet, that will dovetail with camping.
We're looking to wrap the project up by Autumn if possible.
