"Kaitiaki of the Bush" article
The Sudarshanaloka Suvana Project, that works on protecting our precious ngahere, was recently the subject of an article by Waikato Regional Council, posted on their website. Through their Small Scall Community Initiative Fund WRC have been our main funder, supporting us with two grants that have funded the purchase of traps and baits.
The article describes the process we have been through to get the project up and running, and includes some encouraging reflections from some of those who have helped us along the way. To our surprise and delight the same piece also appeared in the local Thames paper a few weeks later.
