Welcoming Beri as our peak retreat season volunteer
We are very much looking forward to Beri joining us in mid December as our peak retreat season volunteer. Beri, originally from Kurdistan, Turkey, has been residing in Dunedin after coming to Aotearoa to complete a PhD in Biomedical Science. She first came into contact with Triratna in Instanbul in 2014 and became a mitra earlier this year after connecting with the Wellington Buddhist Centre. Beri has a great love of the natural world, is a keen meditator and is looking forward to a period of living simply whilst working and practicing alongside the Sudarshanaloka resident community.
